This could be a brilliant homage to old B-movies, or just plain lame...I'll still see it on the chance it will be a brilliant homage.

The fact that Windows feels the need to target Linux directly is awesome. Mac users, I know you've felt the burn of MS propoganda as well...we should unite and live in peace.

I love stuff like this as I am a huge fan of the netbook as a device
genre...very cool. Great to see them using Ubuntu.

Ok this is cool. Dude throws iPhones against the wall and drops them at least 20 feet...with devices escaping unscathed. All due to this space-age gooey junk that they turned into a mobile phone case. Awesome!

Although these netbooks will be running WIndows 7, they will be
pre-loaded with lots of Open Source software, notably FreeMInd (a nice
mind mapping tool) and of my personal favorites, MuseScore
(http://musescore.org).

This is one of my favorite songs lately...thought provoking lyrics and great music by a super talented and creative singer.

This is an interesting POV about global warming....would love to see Al Gore debate the founder of the Weather Channel!

Doesn't look like there's a deb available yet, but this still looks
like a really cool project--I especially love the the Evolution
integration.

Check it, more LXDE screen shots on my Asus Eee PC. LXDE is super
lightweight, GTK-based, psuedo-desktop-environment using lxpanel,
OpenBox, and other utilities. In this set: the lxappearance theme
switcher, some more general desktop shots, and the OpenBox
configuration utility.
